This hotel is a great value for money since it offers low prices but doesn't lack attention to detail. It's located in a quiet area surrounded by nature with stunning views to the mountains. The service is superb and staff is very friendly. The accommodation includes basic amenities, rooms with private bathroom, and breakfast is included. I particularly enjoyed the kitchen that was available to use, just as mentioned in one of the reviews.
Can't think of anything negative to say, everything was just perfect!

Perfect base for exploring Statharhus. Bed was comfortable, and the staff was welcoming. The room was so large. So close to the downtown, 5 minutes on foot.

What a fantastic stay! The hotel is located in a remote area with stunning views of the mountains. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the basic amenities were just what we needed. The rooms were comfortable and had a private bathroom. The included breakfast was delicious and just the fuel we needed to start our day exploring the area.
All in all, we had a great stay.

This hidden gem of a cabin was a perfect jumping off point to explore the stunning northwest of Iceland. Surrounded by picturesque horse farms and snow-capped mountains, the scenery was jaw-dropping. Our 5-year-old daughter loved climbing on rocks and playing near the pair of swans. Even though we're not into horseback riding, it's a dream spot if you are. The price/performance ratio was excellent for our base to explore Snaefellsnes. Plenty of parking, cute grazing horses, a cozy social area, and a well-designed bathroom made our stay super comfortable. Don't miss the chance to stargaze at night!

Upon arrival, our keys were conveniently waiting for us with a warm welcome letter. The cabin was comfortable for our family and the facilities were adequate for our stay. We were lucky enough to witness a brilliant aurora during our stay, making it a memorable experience. I would recommend this hotel.

Quiet and cosy guesthouse in remote area; beautiful mountain view; lovely staff; clean; full kitchen on site; horse stables; comfortable bed; nice surroundings for kids to play.
Nothing that I didn't like.

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay in the west of Iceland. the breakfast had a good variety of cold cuts and sweet options. the location was stunning with amazing views of nature all around us. we loved the fact that we could sit in the hot tub on the deck and watch the night skies.
We had to use the kitchen facilities, which wasn't bad, but it would have been good to know beforehand. the beds were too high and uncomfortable for our liking, but that can be a matter of individual preference.

Located in the serene countryside, this guesthouse offers a unique experience of staying on a horse farm. The rooms are comfortable, equipped with private bathrooms and basic facilities. The staff is professional and enthusiastic, particularly about horses. Guests can prepare their own meals in the kitchen and explore the beautiful surroundings.
The rules about using the kitchen should be clearer, and guests should be informed in advance about whether breakfast is included or not.

The guesthouse was located in a stunning and peaceful location, surrounded by beautiful nature. It was great to have a comfortable and cozy bed to relax on after a long day of exploring the area. I also appreciated the fact that the check-in process was quick and easy.
The shared kitchen area was not well-maintained during my stay. The surfaces were dirty and cluttered, making it difficult to prepare meals comfortably.
